"THE LONG CHALK ROAD"

FIRLE PARK, FIRLE, EAST SUSSEX
SUNDAY 19TH OCTOBER 11AM - 4PM

A GREAT DAY OUT FOR ALL THE FAMILY!

The Long Chalk Road

Thanks to Lord Gage the long drive through Firle Park will be transformed into probably the longest chalk drawing ever! The Guinness Book of Records have been invited to validate the event and measure the art work. All we need are lots of people to turn up and add their ARTISTRY to the drive! We will have the winner of Young Pavement Artist of 2007 as a Star Artist plus other local artists, musicians and entertainers to help create a carnival atmosphere.

The event is part of the National Big Draw which is organised by the Campaign for Drawing. It is also an event to raise money for a charity called The Wishing Tree Trust www.wishingtreetrust.org. The Wishing Tree Trust provides residential supported programmes in the country for families who are experiencing crisis. The holistic programme enriches the family experience promoting positive interaction and conflict resolutions. The charity has been running supported programmes for 7 years.

There will be a festival atmosphere with entertainments such as storytelling, drumming, face-painting, music from local musicians and lots more!

There is NO ADMISSION FEE but DONATIONS WELCOME
